Deep Recovery Returns

After almost a year hiatus, Deep Recovery is back.

I started Deep Recovery as a ministry for our church. We had offered Reboot Combat Recovery for those suffering from Combat Trauma. But as time went by, we had others who were interested who had experienced other forms of Trauma, so I created Deep Recovery. We offered the first course in 2021 during COVID to support those who found that the supports they relied on had been canceled. To me, this was a travesty and could not stand, so we offered the course.

The beginning was humble, and we did not know how much interest there would be. It was very much an ad hoc effort. As an active pastor of a growing church, I had to devote whatever time I could outside of pastoral ministry.

Over the last year, we realized that we had to tie up loose ends. The last full course was a year ago in Rochester, NH, and the last course of 26' was a short intensive for a select few who were interested in offering it to veterans and men. Now we are back and better organized. We are offering a full course in Rochester, NH, beginning September 22nd. I have also created a YouTube channel called Deep Recovery Insights with Fr. Matt.
