Over the summer, Fr. Josh Kimbril offered Deep Recovery at his church in North Carolina. It went very well. We will be sharing his story soon.
We started our September course in Rochester and are now already in week six. It is always a surprise how quickly the course goes. there are about 12 people in this class, many of them here for the first time.
We are planning another Three-Day Intensive specifically for men to be held in early January 2026. That will be in Charleston again. The last time we ran this course there the men who attended were profoundly impacted and it has left a lasting impact. We look forward to strengthening that work. Also, our primary representative and advocate in Charleston, Kathy Blackburn Lewis, is also planning to run a full course for women. We look forward to announcing that start date.
We are working on uploading a series of videos to our Youtube channel. Each one will focus on a particular skill or tool or benefit of the Deep Recovery method. I will also share some of the underlying theory behind each one. Along with this I will be uploading training modules to the website for subscribers and facilitators to access.
Finally, I have begun a post-graduate program offered by King's College, London on the Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health. This degree, which I hope to complete in two years, will further my expertise in the neuroscience of religious practice and serve to validate the approach presented in the Deep Recovery Program.
