Maybe you have been wondering where we have been? Radio silence. A number of things have been happening behind the scenes. Relationships with sponsoring organizations of have clarified. A full course was conducted in North Carolina, and I have been on vacation. Seriously! I needed a break!
St. Matthew's Anglican Church in Weaverville, NC ran a full course led by their pastor, Fr. Josh Kimbrill. About eight attended the course and was it was deeply impactful for those who took it.
As we speak, a full course is being planned for Mount Pleasant in greater Charleston, SC. This course will be for women and will be led by Kathy Blackburn Lewis. Kathy has advocated for Deep Recovery in the area widely and has organized several of our 3-Day Intensive courses there.
Trinity Anglican Church, the home of Deep Recovery, will begin a new course in mid September for in New Hampshire and nearby Massachusetts and Maine. This will make the 6th year courses were offered there and the tenth course run. At least two attendees will be participating in the course in preparation for running courses elsewhere in the future.
Vacation time. Trinity usually offers a summer short course of eight weeks, but this was not available this year because Josh, who usually runs these and our weekly support meetings needed a break himself. Fr. Matt also took a few weeks off to recharge.
